Ellis Motorworks, based in Mayfield, East Sussex, is a newly opened, independent and fully insured car workshop run by myself, Connor.

I've worked on an extensive variety of vehicles, from vintage cars (including the Ford Model T, 1916 Peirce Arrow, and Austin 12s) to more track-focused machines like the Porsche GT3 and Lotus Exige S. I've even served as a pit crew for a number of race meetings looking after a Rally Cross Subaru Impreza. Im even building my own track-spec classic mini (read more here).

Furthermore, I'm proud to have experience of being entrusted with prestigious manufacturers such as Lagonda, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.

Had @djt_joinery_and_design in this week to sort out a suspension noise , found the top mounts and drop links to be at fault. Stripped and fitted with new parts and now she sounds sweet! Nice job to do!

From last week, a Kia Sorento in for a full service , suspension noise, clutch and flywheel.
Clutch was worn and giving a high biting point.

One of the jobs this week was this lovely Mazda Rx8 in for a gearbox change from a 6 speed to a 5 speed.
After a recent track day, it was only really 3rd and 4th being used. On some parts of the track it was almost as if 2nd gear wasn't long enough,

That's the first day done and done!
Got moved in comfortably to a point I can start working!
Done a load of admin bits and then had time to look at the my first customer's car and make an action plan.
First week is already booked up and looking good,
